Partners from business and research
In addition to the participants, the partners are the driving forces behind the Energy Data Hackdays. With their ideas, tasks and inputs, they form the foundation of every Energy Data Hackdays event. They benefit from the network, know-how and creativity of the participants and are also involved in communication. You contribute to the success of every event.
Only when everyone works together can tasks be created that offer added value for the partners themselves as well as for society. Research and science, business and the public sector work together and thus provide scope for ideas and future projects.
Why should I become a partner of the Energy Data Hackdays?
The reasons for partner organizations to participate are diverse and vary from partner to partner. The most frequently cited are:

- Networking among like-minded people
The exchange within the Energy Data Working Group is also attractive for partners. In addition to the exchange of information and networking, this also serves the joint development of projects and the clarification of questions, which the partner organizations are welcome to bring to the working group.
"During last year’s event, we had the chance to meet and exchange thoughts and ideas with some very creative people from the energy industry and the public. The experience we gathered from our challenge “read your own smart meter” helped us set a vision for an open source software solution for the reading of smart meters, which we are currently following internally. The event is a creative space for the participants to meet, exchange ideas, think out of the box and spark the development of solutions for the new energy era. "

The possible roles that our partners can take on are just as varied as the reasons for participating.
